Most Mahatma Letters &ndash; correspondence written or annotated by the [[Masters of the Wisdom]] &ndash; have been published in the books [[The Mahatma Letters to A. P. Other letters are still being located in private collections, and these have come to light recently.

One special group of ten letters falls into a special category because the [[Masters of the Wisdom|Masters]] directed [[Helena Petrovna Blavatsky]] to preserve them. == Letters in the possession of Countess Wachtmeister ==

These two letters of Master [[Koot Hoomi]] are from unpublished material left by [[Constance Wachtmeister|Countess Wachtmeister]]. John Cooper obtained copies. [[Gustav Gebhard]] received a precipitated letter at his home in Elberfeld, Germany, and a few weeks later, his wife [[Mary Gebhard]] received a precipitated letter in the same house.
